Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR), Governor of Ogun State was on inspection to the site of the ongoing construction project of the Prince Court Estate, Abeokuta in line with his Administration’s social welfare outlook for the citizen of the State.
Governor Abiodun, who disclosed that 130 units of the ongoing affordable housing project would be ready soon and he also stated that the first phase of the total 3 phases of the ongoing project in Abeokuta would eventually deliver 150 units.
Prince Dapo Abiodun expressed his regret that the project has been slowed down by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Governor pledged that such a scheme would be executed in other cities within the State, including Ilaro, Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu, Ota and Ibafo.
Governor Dapo Abiodun also stressed that as a means of employing local labour, his Administration did not award the contract to any company, disclosed that workers who worked with the State Ministry of Housing were employed through direct labour.
The Prince Court Estate sets a record today as one of the many affordable housing projects still to be embarked upon by the Dapo Abiodun Administration. #BuildingOurFutureTogether
